So I have about 4 more months left in Korea. I've been extremely busy putting projects together, applying for different things, and just tying loose ends in Korea.
A few more things to cross out on my list of things TO DO.
-Keep on practicing my guitar and learn how to professionally play at least one good song.
-Learn how to cook one more meal.
-Finish one more book.
These are just personal goals, but other than that, I've probably done most of the things on my "to do list".
Oh yeah gain 5 more pounds and bungee jump with the Cuza from France!

Still I rise...
Here's a famous poem by my all time favorite author Maya Angelou. I used this poem as an example to teach about how to write a critical essay. Basically learning how to analyze someone else's work and write about it. Strength, weaknesses, message you get, target reader, repetition, etc...
STILL I RISE
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

I feel LOVED...
Random: I just noticed today that more than 50% of my students wear glasses. I spoke about culture/New years with my students today and I realized that I actually celebrate New Years 3 times a year. American, Chinese, and Cambodian...i never really thought about it.
I feel loved by my family. A big something I got in the mail. It made my day, despite the 8 hours of actual teaching.
Today is the most tiring day ever. I had to teach 8 consecutive hours. But coming home to see a big box of love sent from my family makes me forget how tired I am and how stressful work is...<3<3<3<3<3<3
